About Coastal Canyon

Residents of Coastal Canyon in Newport Coast, California enjoy the dramatic views of the Pacific Ocean and surrounding canyons. They value the closeness to nature while living in a gated 24-hour security guarded community.

Coastal Canyon homes, also known as Serena, were built in the early 2000’s along romantic streets like Venezia, Catania, and Alessandria. Most homes here range from 3,300 to 4,400 square feet with on the average, four bedrooms. A Mediterranean-inspired architectural style is obvious here and the neighborhood is impeccably maintained.

Residents have access to a community spa and pool as well as other amenities like tennis courts, parks, and event planning. Public education facilities for this area include highly ranked Newport Coast Elementary, Corona Del Mar High School, and Vista Verde. There are also many private schools in the area.

There is plenty of ocean view shopping at the Crystal Cove Promenade or at Fashion Island which features shops like Peloton, Brooks Brothers, and Modern Romance as well as restaurants like Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar. You can also relax at one of the spas nearby or play golf at the award-winning Pelican Hill Resort. Crystal Cove is a short trip to see the beautiful miles of beach and waterfront.

Balboa Island is known for its streets that were named after stones like Turquoise and Diamond. There are over 100 shops, cafes, and boutiques to explore and it’s a great place to visit by walking. If you take a stroll around the island, you’ll find spectacular views of yachts, beach cottages, and amazing mansions. And on Balboa Island’s main street, Marine Avenue, people flock to visit the art galleries and experience world-class dining. The “Island” is named for the walking path that surrounds its perimeter. It is known for the annual Balboa Island Parade and the annual Art Walk as well as the legendary and delicious Balboa Bar.
